What is Jobsync?

We created JobSync to improve day to day functions for businesses by improving the flow of information between personnel and back-end systems. JobSync will replace paper based processes and dramatically improve turn around time and reduce human error.

JobSync users in the field carry a handheld PDA running the JobSync Mobile software. JobSync Mobile contains all of the information the user needs to complete their task in the field.

For example, a sales rep will have all of their customer accounts accessible on the device, including contact details, outstanding balances and previous orders.

If the sales rep was selling goods, all these goods would be available for selection during the order taking process, including pricing, discounts, stock on hand quantities and more. Service professionals have access to service items that are regularly performed, and are able to track their time against each task. Delivery (and/or pick up) drivers have a run list to work off, containing the addresses they need to visit as well as the related orders.



Information recorded on the handheld can be transmitted immediately over the Internet using the mobile phone network. Alternatively users can choose to dock the device to a computer with Internet access, or connect to a WiFi hotspot. It's important to note that the handheld stores its information locally and therefore users don't need to be constantly connected to a mobile phone network and run the risk of dropping out of coverage.
The handheld component of JobSync is available on Windows Mobile devices as well as on iPhone. Organisations can mix and match devices based on the needs of each user and their operating environment.
