Our approach to asset management sees operation on two platforms – Web and Mobile Devices.

The web component is the main operational platform, and allows users controlled access to all modules of the system. Users will simply need to have a web browser installed on their workstation and network access to the site – no further software installation is required. Levels of user access is highly customisable by an administrator, controlling entry to all parts of the AMS system, showing or hiding areas, reports or data.

Mobile devices contain client software which is used by field operators to log inspections, routine maintenance and generate work orders. The devices store a subset of the main AMS database, and will not require live access to the system, meaning uninterrupted operation in remote areas that lack cellular coverage.

Synchronisation of data can occur automatically throughout the day using available mobile phone networks, or once the operator arrives back at a depot or office and physically connects to the network.
